Himalayan Pink Salt is a crystal pure salt that was formed more than 250 million years ago in the Himalayan Mountains. These mountains were formed due to the volcanic eruptions that caused the crust of the earth to move, and the salt, which was settled on the ocean bed, began to rise. As a result, unique pink-colored mineral – Himalayan pink salt rocks were formed.
After Pakistan’s independence in 1947, the mines were taken over by the Pakistan Mineral Development Corporation, which also provides mines on rent to Salt and Rock.

Himalayan salt has a rich mineral composition of 84 elements. The chemical composition of it is almost the same as the human body. That is the reason why Pink salt has various health and wellness benefits. It is believed that Himalayan salt helps to stabilize blood pressure, digestion, relieve stress, normalizes mental state, circulatory system, and hormone production.

Pink salt contains iron (which provides its color), copper, potassium, magnesium, calcium, phosphorus, boron, chromium, fluorine, iodine, manganese, molybdenum, selenium, and zinc.
